SDS processing time

Any idea why SDS is actually taking longer than regular online application? I saw one on our group wherein he applied 9/30 and actually got full approval on 10/21.

I researched that sds applications are being evaluated in edmonton while regular online are being done in the country they applied in. Is this accurate?

mostly yes. yet cannot be 100% sure.
also yes even i have seen similar trend non sds is faster. it is so silly.

So what if I get married before leaving to canada and I want to take my spouse along with me? Do I have to resubmit a new application with updated passport details and all?

Wait for your decision on Sp and then after you get your approval apply for your spouse

Nope they are processing applications randomly.. People who have their application complete can expect to get ppr in coming weeks

U mean AIP people are not the priority?

Ya i meant those with aip and have their bio and medicals updated are getting ppr
