SDS eligibility review not started even after 1 month

So I applied through SDS route for my study permit

Application: April 30th
Medical: April 23th
Medical updated: May 14th
Biometrics: May 6th

Talked with IRCC agent. My documents are being verified but my review of eligibility has NOT started yet!

All my documents are in place . no additional documents required.
Could anyone help me understand what could be the issue here?? uergent reply appreciated .TIA

how u talked with an agent..i applied on 14 april and bio got updated on 18 april and my medical on 3May..since then my eligibility and background is in progress

Hi, your documents are being verified? means they are checking your eligibility. because this section covers eligibility , background covers admisibility for any criminal records etc. so you are all set.

hey really?! that’s a relief. but it should have come by now. my friends applied after me and received within 10 days. so i’m really worried here

Also please share which province did you applied, and whats your course? which visa office?

That is incredibly rare. Were they attending a top university at masters or PhD level? Processing times typically are 1-2+ months even for SDS.

Hi, need your advise please.
i applied on may 13 2024. there is no update from that date except Biometeric and medical passed and Background in process according to tracker. Eligibility not started according to tracker. i applied through immigration consultant who never give me any update even i asked many time. Should i create GCkey if possible or wait only . I applied on masters degree and Visa office is Abu Dhabi. Please share your advise .

You are within normal processing times. Create your own account to link and track it. SDS times are rarely followed.
