Hello,
I'm in the process of filling out my EE profile and have a query about how best to fill in my education history. I can't seem to find any specific information relating to this online.
I have what is known as an "undergraduate masters". This is a four year undergraduate degree, which certain "ancient" Universities in Scotland can award. My degree certificate says "Master of Arts" and my degree programme was MA (Hons) English Literature and History.
There's more information about these here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Master_of_Arts_(Scotland)
I have had my qualification assessed by ICES and they have said it's the equivalent of a "four year bachelor's degree", which is what I expected.
My question is, in the EE Profile, where it first asks for the "Level of Education" (ie. not the Canadian equivalent section), should I put:
"Masters degree or Professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession"
Or
"Bachelor’s degree or other programs (three or more years) at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute"
Technically, it's a Master's degree, but it's not a Postgraduate Masters. But equally, it's also a "3+ year programme at a University". And would whoever is assessing my application think it odd that I've said I have a Masters, but not a Bachelors? For what it's worth, my ICES assessment says "Credential 1: Master of Arts (Honours)" in the description of my education in Part 1.
Am I just overthinking this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
