Hello,

I received my ITA last month but also took my IELTS again since I paid for it before I received my ITA.
With the most recent results, my CRS score increased.

Should I change my profile when submitting my IELTS scores? Or keep it as it is and send my previous results with the lower score?
Although I received my ITA, I haven't finished filling up the profile submission. However, already started collecting the documents needed.

Thank you in advance.

I assume that you meant that you did not finish your PR application yet - your Express Entry profile should be locked now that you are invited.

Either way should be fine for your application. Changes between the ITA and PR application are not uncommon (I suspect that the IELTS expires for a small minority of people during this period) - the only problem is if it causes you to drop below the minimum score for your invitation round. That's hardly the case for you.

All the best.

Make your application as easy and smooth as possible. If your old ielts is not expiring before submitting your AOR, dont change anything. If it is, submit the new one.

Thank you. I agree that I will keep the older results in my profile. However, should I mention my new IELTS in my explanation letter and would that affect any decision variables for the good of the immigration officer? Note that I scored 9s for reading listening and speaking.

No, it wont have any affect and you dont have to mention it. Having a new ielts does not cancel the old one, its irrelevant.
