My husband and I are applying inland.

Is he permitted to take an IELTS (English) course while awaiting his OWP? Does he need a student visa for something like this?
Just looking for something to fill and benefit his time while waiting

Student visas required for studies over 6 month in duration, so in this case it is not applicable, he can take the IELTS course.
