Schedule A... signed but not hand written.

Just this week I mailed in my step-daughter's Schedule A form to CIC as I was unable to link my account and submit the form.

The only thing is the form is duly signed by her but her name is not hand-written, which i read is mandatory.

Does anyone know if this is okay or if CIC may possibly return the form because it's lacking the handwritten name??
 
Do you mean it is an "online signature" rather than a wet signature?

According to the Guide the Schedule A sent via mail has to be signed by hand.
Here is exact wording:
  • in the signature section, type your name and select the date using the date selection tool.
  • print out the form and sign in writing (provide your original handwritten signature) next to your name in the signature box.
 
I was asked to sign by hand, as in resend.

The form itself was filled out on a PC and validated, which was then physically signed by my step-daughter ( so not an electronic/ online signature).
After several attempts to link the application failed and due to it being time sensitive I decided to mail the signed form in. Only thing is I realized after the fact that though she signed the form, her name is not also hand written as CIC requires.
I'm worried now that it'll be rejected because of this.

I don't remember writing my name. Not sure if the new application is changed. this was the 2016 PDF

I cant see that being a deal breaker...as long as the date is there and legible.
