Hi,

CIC requested Schedule A for both me and my partner on 26Feb2016 - gave me 7 days to submit. I submitted on 01Mar2016 but since no response..Application/profile status

Review of eligibility - Review in Progress
Review of medical results - Passed
Review of submitted documents (Schedule A request) - Provided
Scheduling an interview - Not needed at this time
A background check is needed - Not needed at this time
Final decision - Not Started

Does anyone know a rough timeline form Schedule A request to PPR?? And has there been any rejections anyone is aware of after Schedule A request..

Please help - the wait and not knowing is killing me - have been waiting to go to Canada for past 14 years - my application was always either late or incomplete - and this the first time seems possible to actually get through..

Thanks
Paras

Relax !! It's been hardly over 20 days since you submitted your additional documents, the processing time is 6 months from the date of submission and in between there are hardly any updates, so sit back relax and don't take unnecessary tension.

There is a question in schedule A

Q6: "Have you, or, if you are the principal applicant, any of your family members listed on your application for permanent residence in Canada ever"

I would like to know the definition of FAMILY on this. I have my wife and son listed in my application. However, in the family history section, I have provided details of my parents and siblings as well. So what is the scope of family for schedule A?

Well it says family members listed on the application, so I think it just means those listed (wife and son) vs parents and siblings.
Have your parents/siblings applied for PR in Canada?

The only place I included parents and siblings was on the additional family information IMM5406E which is anyone related except my marriage, so half/step siblings do count, but "in-law" ones (ie: siblings partner) aren't needed. I put my siblings maritial status and wasn't questioned further.

I did my Schedule A at the time of ITA submission.

I'm a bit confused by your timings listed, it says December in your thing on the left, then AOR ins March 11th which is two days before ITA, so I must be missing something.

Unfortunately, most applications seem to take ~4 months and other than the occasional ghost email or request for information you already provided there isn't much that can be seen. Good luck though.

I'm in the same boat. My application status is exactly like yours and i've sent the ScheduleA on 15th February. No word since then.
Apparently it can take months, so its best to forget about it and not worry for a while i think.

Do we need to submit schedule request before while submitting the application?

My student visa is rejected for first time when i applied to canada, and i got it only on second time. Also, my B1B2 - US visitor visa rejected once, and i didnt try after that.

I am sure, i will be requested for Schedule A request. Just wondering, if i need to submit while submitting the application or has to submit if CIC request it?

I've read a few who've submitted the Schedule A upfront. I also had visa refusals but I included the LoE and refusal letters upfront, and I haven't had a Schedule A request. So there's no harm in providing the Schedule A or an LoE upfront to respond to the statutory questions, instead of waiting for a request.

To answer the Thread Starter's question, there's usually no trend, it can depend on who requests it, CIO-Sydney or the local VO. If it's the local VO that requests for Schedule A, obviously, PPR is near as it means the eligibility check is being done.

@JC94 - Thanks for your feedback..and yes, I corrected the dates now...thank you..

Ok.. Let me ask are there instances of rejections post document request? My case was first rejected (expired ECA - it wasn't) I raised a CSE and they agreed to reopen by asking for Schedule A. I don't think there was even a need for Schedule A - I just filled in everything the same as I did in my initial application..
Anyone who was rejected post this stage??

I don't have refusal letters, so is it safe to upload Schedule A upfront?

Well you download it fill it and print it - in case you are unable to fill it in electronically, fill it in with black ink (CAPS ONLY). Sign it, scan it, upload it and submit it.. Unless you are saying you are unable to download and save even the blank form - that would be bizarre - try another computer or better PDF version that might resolve the issue.. Good luck..

Hi guys

Has anyone received Schedule A request, demanding to complete a particular time frame and particular fields? I was requested to complete the personal/education history in Schedule A form for the period of March 2006-March 2011.

My questions are the following:

1. In that period I had both government positions and military positions. So, should I complete them only in personal history or in relevant tables?

2. I didn't have any education record for the requested periods. All my education was before and after that? It seems that education table in Schedule A speaks about education in general, without referring to particular time frame. So, should I complete my education or no?

3. Does a specific request (education/personal history) mean that I should skip all the other tables, such as address history and membership?

Hello

I need to help about schedule A.
Cic requested about reason of my refuse co-op work permit.
But i dont have refuse letter.
I just know about refuse reason.
Should i apply GCMS Note about reason of my refuse work permit?
Or just send to cic about reason.
Please help me :(
