Hi,

My wife is trying to fill in her personal history and we are stuck.

She is an EU citizen (from Sweden) so when she chooses an option for status during specific time periods does she select worker, other or citizen for her time working in the Netherlands?

Also, she got granted a temporary working visa twice and was allowed to work in Canada legally 2 summers. What status should we select there? Other or worker?

Hi,

Wife is an EU citizen (from Sweden) and while in Netherlands was unemployed for a few months (between jobs). Which status option shall she select? There is no option for EU citizen. Would she select Other or citizen?

Seems clear to me. I would go for 'Foreign National', which she is (was). She is Swedish and is therefore a foreign national while in the Netherlands.

I would be pretty sure that the Canadian Visa office understand the EU freedom of movement stuff.
