schedule A background/declaration please help

i am sponsoring my wife, I am a canadian and my wife needs to fill out schedule A

On first page in the following question what does my wife have to chose

Indicate whether you are :

The principal applicant the Spouse, common law partner or dependent child aged 18 of the principal applicant


So what shall my wife chose, I am confused here is she the principal applicant here or the spouse of the principal applicant knowing I will sponsor my wife

Your wife is the principal applicant because she is the sponsored spouse who is applying for the permanent residence in Canada.

I am a principal applicant too. My husband is my sponsor.
