Hi Friends,

I have a question regarding Schedule 3 , question 11 which is regarding the listing of occupations with appropriate NOC.

My job as a Temporary foreign worker had NOC 4165 (Health Policy researcher) assigned on the LMO. Now the job duties as attached with my Reference letter has many duties similar to NOC 2121 and that is what I performed in addition to some 4165 specific duties. My work permit clearly indicates Health policy researcher.

Should I write NOC 2121 for the NOC for question 11 or should I write 4165? I do not want to fall in the trap of misrepresentation although I would like this particular job to be treated for 2121 in order to gain points.

The answer to this question is directly related to the next question on Schedule 3, which is regarding the "Order of preference". I have 3 other work experience in 2121.

Your help is appreciated.

I would say you can put 2121 if you can provide evidence/reference letter. I would also put a additional detail description letter with the schedule 3 regarding why you have put 2121 instead of 4165.

You can try to convince them, if you do so then it's on them to decide which one to consider and at the same time you have made clear from your explanation that you are not giving any wrong information.

We never know what the officer will do in such case but you can try genuinely! I hope it helps! Good Luck!

Thanks Spyder,

I had the same thought to include explanation letter ....it always feels good to see that someone thinks likewise.

Thanks again.
