Scanned documents and timelines of reviewing documents.

Hello,

Maybe this could be a dumb question, but wanted to make sure if documents scanned via phone are allowed or not? I don't have access to scanner in vacation, so I scanned few docs via smartphone and at the end of every scanned document, the app is placing their logo saying 'Scanned with CamScanner'.

Also, approx how much time did it take for your documents to get reviewed after you submitted them? My friend said it takes 3-4 months.

I would suggest you please spend some more time and scan documents with a proper scanner and upload them in a clear and visible quality. You never know what could cause an issue since the IRCC officials are bombarded with plenty of files on a daily basis.

Better to scan it with a proper scanner, if you must scan with Camscanner, make sure the documents are totally clear. If I remember correctly, my Camscanner doesn't have watermark any more (it's the latest version on Android). Processing time on average is like 4-6 months.
