In Sask. province and throughout Canada, While being on a study permit...You can work for any job, without any restrictions inside your campus... I.E you need no permit to work for On-Campus jobs. For working Off campus/Outside... where you'll be allowed to work upto 20 hours/week ONLY after completing 1st 6 months of your studies, maintaining good grades (as decided by the Univ./College) and then applying for OFF-Campus Work permit. The Off campus work permit May take another... upto 4-8 weeks to come. You'll also need a SIN card before you can start working for Any job.

About, the type of jobs, there are plenty available (unskilled-- NOC C or D) in Sask. province and may include wide variety of jobs form cashier to server to call center worker to sales rep..etc. etc.
