Hi dear people, I am the PA, my spouse doesn't have employment reference letters in the CIC required format. Based on what I have read on the forum, I removed his work history and just included it in the personal history since I am not claiming any points for his foreign work experience; so that it doesn't prompt me for letters. But I am scared now, since it looks like an inconsistency, as it was mentioned in EE profile before ITA, now post ITA I am saying no work history? Now, I am thinking of adding his work history and attaching the generic reference letters his companies are providing, since he is not the PA. Is this okay? Does anyone have a situation like this and got their PR?
Did anyone get their PR by removing spouse's foreign work history completely or included it and provided generic letters?

Please help!

Thanks in advance.

Even I did the same and attached an LoE stating the same in case of my spouse. I haven't received my PPR yet, so can't say for sure, but I believe it should be alright.

The entire concept that CIC go by is that the final points should not be lower than the one at which you were issued your ITA. Since the spousal work experience does not count at all, it shouldn't matter to the overall points and you should be fine.

As you didnt claim any points, IRCC dont really care about the reference letters for your spouse.. You should be fine. Good luck.

Thanks guys!
