Sanned or Original Documents

I am applying for spouse sponsorship within Canada and I have to submit several documents from my home country until September 28th (the date when my stay in Canada expires). Is it possible to submit with CIC scanned documents (BIRTH AND POLICE CERTIFICATE) while I wait for my originals?

Does anyone know?

Take the scan for your and is always better sending in the original ones.

Do not send originals unless specified by the checklist. Send exactly what IRCC requests or your app might get returned (3 months wasted)

Only send originals if tgey explicitly asked for them, otherwise copies. It says this in the online help.
