What's the situation? MPs can only inquire about processing time delays - they can't change or impact the results of a PR application. I can't imagine a situation where writing to an MP would do anything to fix a situation with an undeclared child.

If you can tell us what has happened - we might be able to give you some options. You might qualify for the pilot that's underway right now for undeclared children.

I am a canadian citizen and entered canada as landed immigrant under CEC application. Have an illegitimate son (6 yrs old) undeclared. But now the real father is not capable taking care of the child. He is now giving his approval for my son to live with me. Wondering how to start or if i am able to apply under H

Since you entered Canada under CEC which is an economic immigration class, you unfortunately do not qualify for the pilot.

You can try H&C. Impossible for any of us to say what the chances of approval might be.

An MP really can't help you. However it would be a very good idea to hire an immigration lawyer.
