Hi, everyone. This is my first time posting so go easy on me.

Here's my scenario:

I was employed in 2013 and assumed the position as a Quality Analyst (QA). A year later, my Manager assigned me to another position in Calibration while still being assigned as a QA. It was declared on our Table of Organization and all that, specifying I was a QA and in Calibration at the same time. The pay is the same, work hours is the same, they just assigned me another job. I was a QA up to 2017 (4 years) and in Calibration up to 2018 (4 years).

Recently, I requested for my Reference Letter and noticed my QA work experience to be from 2013 to 2017 (4 years), and my Calibration work experience to be from only 2017 to 2018 (1 year). I requested the HR to also declare the overlap from 2014 to 2017 (3 years) to my Calibration work experience but was met with the answer, "We cannot change the contents because it was declared on your records.", etc.

I'm now facing problems on how I will be able to prove my work experience should I be issued an ITA in the Express Entry. Another thing is, can the time spent working the 2nd job from 2014 to 2017 be even considered as work experience based on Canadian standards?

Thanks in advance for your help and wishing everyone good health.
