If I do not have my salary in account neither I have salary slips with me so would it be sufficient if I will provide salary certificate as a proof instead of sakary slips?

Just provide reference letter according to the CIC guidelines

Salary slips/ pay stubs are not a required document. You may submit them to make your case stronger (?)
In your case, you may submit the certificate if you want to. But, the reference letter with required information is mandatory.

Would it be enough or my selection chances would go down because of not having salary proof?
Salary is mentioned on the reference letter. It is one of the criteria of the reference letter. That's a proof of your, employment, salary etc

If you still want, you can highlight in LOE the transactions in bank statements that relate to your salary. If not, just let it go

But what if the ref letter doesn’t mention the salary details? Many employers are reluctant to mention the same.
I have included offer letter revision letter and paystubs in at least two letters.
Hope that doesn’t create any issues

since you have provided other proofs of your salary like paystubs, I think you're good. Just mention in LOE that your employer didn't mention these details in reference letter so you are providing paystubs etc.

I read somewhere it will help if you can also attach an email excerpt of requesting the required data in reference letter and employer refusing to do so.
