question for seniors

for foreign work experience, my reference letter states salary, in CAD, and numbers are actually higher than bank statements. my manager estimated it roughly (and it was hard to estimate), since i was getting paid fixed part + commision, so it varied every month.

what do you think, will this be a problem?

I do not think CIC is too much concerned about your salary. The only thing that matters to them if you have worked in a job that has job responsibilities to the NOC you have applied. Do you have sufficient work experience or the points you are claiming (Years of experience, fULL TIME, permanent etc). It should be on a company letter head with the company contacts. They are not going to cross check your salary. In case if you are planning to include pay stubs along with your wok reference letter, then you additionally include a Letter of explanation stating that your salary is comprised of fixed and variable part and hence your reference letter shows an indicative (or mean figure) of what you might actually get. You can also mention that your paystubs reflects the actual payment that you hv been getting.

i dont have paystubs, but i see what you mean.
thanks for the reply
