RPRF request

Hi folks! I can't seem to find a thread about what my question is. I'm wondering if anyone on here knows at what stage does CIC ask for RPRF? how long after the request do you hear anything back from them? what usually comes after the request? TIA

Usually they request this at the additional document stage (right after AOR2).

Thanks for the reply! Thats what i thought. It was just out of curiousity. In my case, I actually overpaid when i sent in the application. So now i received a letter saying they are refunding me the difference. So i started wondering at what stage do they process the payments which i assume is almost like requesting the RPRF.
