RPRF question

when my husband paid it online, he got an email with the receipt with some fields that need to be filled, like name, case number, address and so on, so this was a PDF file but it wont allow us to fill it out on the pc so we printed it then filled it out then scan it and sent it to them via email, he put his name, MY case number the one starting with letter B,, then his address and his phone number. So how will we know that they got the payment? was that the way it was supposed to be done? im so confused and concerned that they dont get the payment and we lose the money.

Basically, the receipt that needed to be filled in and printed should then be mailed to either the Case Processing Centre in Vegreville (if you applied inland) or the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga (if you applied outland) so that they can update your file that the RPRF was paid. If you didn't do that, print out another receipt and fill in the information and then send it to the proper CPC. I would suggest that it be sent by UPS, FedEx or Purolator so you can track delivery and get signature confirmation of receipt. As with most everything else you send to CIC, they are not going to notify you that they received it.

thank you sooooo much for your answer! This is pretty confusing cuz we didnt pay it along with the main application, i just got my interview and passed so they said to complete the process i just neeeded to redo medicals and pay for RPRF. I have it more clear now. We sent it to the Canadian embassy in Dom. Rep. by email.
