Hi tahirksa,

Immediately contact your bank in Saudi from where you got DD along with a copy and ask them to trace dig in information if it is encashedor not. If the DD was in same package may be it got lost in VO? Inform VO details of DD and the action you are taking do the needful.
Don't delay. All the best.

I hope you do have the copy of the DD that the Bank Gave you.

First TELL visa office that the DD is WITH THE DOCUMENTS and send a Scanned copy of the DD that is with you.

IF the VO says they have not Received it....THEN goto Bank and Cancel the Previous DD, they will revert it to your account on same day currency rate (their vs Canadian Dollar) and also there would be some charges, around 70-80 Dirhams or so, depends on bank.

Make A FRESH DD of the required amount and on you way back Courrier it to the VO, BUT, This time attach it with paper clips to an A4 Paper that also could serve as a Cover letter with your details and explanation.

Also dont forget to write your name, address, and Immigration numbers on the back of the DD.

Best of Luck, you are done :)
