RPRF fee request: Good or bad thing?

I just got an email in my CIC account to pay my rprf fee. Is this a good or bad thing? Asking in terms of whether my r10 check is completed. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

Of course it is good thing! Why would they ask for your RPRF fees otherwise?

Thanks bud. I think I was just surprised because my application has been in the system for less than a month and I know people usually had to wait 6 months before getting that kind of correspondence from CIC. Maybe I was wrong?
