RPRF: did not get the second email yet

Did cic send out the second apology email to everyone who got the first email regarding rprf? I received the first email on jan 18 at 11.38 am and haven't received the second email yet. What does this mean? Should I pay the $490 fee yet or should I wait? This is extremely frustrating
 
Have you received MR? What month did you apply?
 
I believe most people got the second email, but depending on your timeline, I would just go ahead and pay the fee.
It doesn't hurt, even if it was send to you in error at least its out of the way.
 
I'm confused why people are finding this difficult. It's obvious from the forum posts here that there have been some of these sent out in error. If you've already paid the fee, but received this email, just call CIC and get them to check that your payment is on file. If they say it isn't, tell them you'll send the receipt from the first time you paid it (quote them the payment number on the phone).

Paying this twice just because they sent you an email is crazy. Call them and sort it out. You don't have to throw $490 away because of a computer glitch.

Oh, and if you haven't paid it yet, then just go ahead and pay it whenever. I didn't wait for the email during my process, I just paid it and emailed the receipt. All went totally fine. Might have even potentially made things speed up.

hey, did you pay yours before doing your medicals? this is what i'm thinking to do, I don;t know if it makes any difference?

I waited until after my medicals showed up as received on ECAS (but that only took about 10 days - ECAS must have been having a good week around that time, LOL).

I think as long as you have an AOR that you can reference when you email the RPRF receipt, it doesn't really matter when you pay it. It will end up attached to your file. Some time later I was able to log on to ECAS using the payment receipt number, so that way I knew that it had been received.
 
I'm October 2014 applicant.
No MR yet, of course.
I received the RPRF email on Jan 18th but haven't received the 2nd email yet.
Anyone else like me?
