Hi,

You can send them an email asking them about the receipt of your passport. I sent it and I received a reply after 10 days but I had the passport in my hand. They said visa was issued bla bla. So to answer your question, they do not send acknowledgements for medicals and passport. You can send a case specific inquiry after a week of receipt of medicals and passport by CHC.
