I've received request to make a payment for ROPR this morning.
What's next after completing this step? How much longer before the final decision has been made?

To make an payment for the RPRF, go to , https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en.

Then select IMMIGRATION as the type of service and click on RIGHT OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE FEE.

Principal applicants (with some exceptions) and spouses and common-law partners coming with them to Canada must pay this fee. Applicants must pay this fee before CIC issues the permanent resident visa or before the applicant becomes a permanent resident in Canada.

These people do not have to pay this fee:

dependent children of a principal applicant or sponsor, a child to be adopted, or an orphaned brother, sister, niece, nephew or grandchild; and
protected persons, including Convention refugees.

[ Source: #4 on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp ]

After paying the fee, you will be issued a receipt, which you can either fill out on your computer or print, fill out and scan - then email to CIC for further processing.

Send the receipt to: CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais @ cic.gc.ca or CPPO-Cost-Recovery @ cic.gc.ca
and make sure to include all required information in the subject line

I think you might have misread the question ;-)

Hi Tony,
I read somewhere that it takes between 1-2 months now to get PPR
I am also in the same boat...I paid my RPRF 2 weeks back!!
Good Luck!!!

Damn I did ;D , Ok next step is wait for PPR or COPR in mail box if you are from visa exempt country .

Go to http://www.trackitt.com/canada-immigration-trackers/canadian-experience-class

Sort by medical sent date.

Check peoples notes to see when they were asked to pay the fee.

Check the passport request dates if you're not visa-exempt. Check approval dates if you are.

Using this information is the best way to estimate how long it may time for you to get to the next stage.

I paid my fee last Monday, so I've been waiting 1.5 weeks so far for the COPR, but I expect it to take up to a month.

Anywhere from 3 weeks to 8 months

People who applied with me, we all got it after 6 months on a single day Oct 2nd
RPRF paid in Apr 2014

PPR = Passport Request
COPR = Confirmation of Permanent Residency

If you're from a non visa exempt country, you will have to send your passport to the CIC.

Have a read through the following link:

I paid the RPRF fee at the same time when I submitted my application (that amount has been charged from my credit card). Should I now expect to receive PPR or do they still send a RPRF letter?

My current ECAS status, "Application received" with "We have received your medical."

Thanks in advance for the reply.
