Ridiculous things in Canada

Hello,
I am trying to apply for a job to obtain a work permit, but, when I apply for a job vacancy, they ask me to get a work permit in advance... How ridiculous! A work permit needs a job offer, while, a job offer needs a work permit. So who would be the first employer can offer me a job? One more thing that I don't quite understand is, that the Canadian government says it needs millions of employees, but when I look for a job, most employers ask me to pay for their employement, as I am a foreign worker. I just want to find a normal and legal job, just like in any country on the planet, but now, I need to pay for the employers to get their job. Ridiculous again. I don't know why. Does employment become a business in Canada now?

Btw, when you say the government needs millions of employees, why don't you seek employment directly from them?

Furthermore, employment is a business not only in Canada. There are hiring / employment agencies in many parts of the world.

If someone is asking you to pay money in exchange for a job offer, then it's a scam and there is no job. The people who are asking for money are all scammers. Job scams are common. These people aren't even in Canada. They just want your money.

Real employers will not charge you money in exchange for a job offer. However they also need to be willing to go through the LMIA process. As explained in your other thread, it's hard to find employers willing to do this.

Its not ridiculous. By work permit, they want you to be eligible to work in Canada. Canadian companies are in no mood to sponsors work visas unless your the best of the best in the world. I mean if you are one, you wouldn't be immigrating to Canada in the first place.

This is not happening. Ever heard about "Darwin's theory"? Survival of the fittest. Nothing is ridiculous here because today's world is very competitive.

Hi, man, you know what, of course, I have directly sought them on the official website named JOB BANK. Otherwise, I would have not pointed out that question. I won't say a word if I talked to a hiring agent, but, those who asked me for money are just the employers. It should not be a business for employers.

Maybe your brain is blocked, but I am talking about an unfair phenomenon, not any theory, though I know a lot about Darwin, I know clearly the immigrating process, so I can figure out what is unfair and ridiculous.
Maybe you think Canada doesn't deserve elites, I don't care, what I care about is it is not fair.

But, that is not fair. If foreign potential employees accept the unfair rules, they must accept your route. I know the process, and what a foreigner should do in this situation, I just talk about unfairness.
If the Canadian government accepts this unfair phenomenon, why not just directly declare that they don't need foreign workers, but just local post-graduates or some people stay in Canada, like that. Maybe the government meant not to do that, but actually, it generates a lot of unfair, ridiculous, and corrupt phenomena.

There are employers who are willing to go through the LMIA process. It's not necessarily easy to find these jobs / employers but they are certainly out there. If you go to the Foreign Workers section of the forum, you will see threads from people who are coming to Canada on LMIA supported work permits. This means they've been able to secure a job in Canada and that employer has been willing to go through the LMIA process so that they can qualify for a work permit. It's definitely possible and that's why the process exists.

You should, however, never have to pay for a job. If anyone is ever asking you for money in exchange for a job offer, it's safe to assume it's a scam.

Did I say that? Can you not read? If someone is asking for money, they are clearly scamming you. My goodness, you don't even know that you are being scammed. Since you sound erratic and naïve, I am sure you are the soft target for scammers. Asking for work permit is not unfair and its fair in all sense given how competitive the world is now. Canada cannot give away employment to people sitting outside (including me) because we feel we deserve it. Oh, you don't sound elite. You sound like someone who feel cheated and stressed out after know the reality. Live with it.

JOB BANK is just a platform owned by the government. Jobs listed there are not necessary from the government. Hiring agencies might also list their job vacancies there. So you are right to be cautious.
