It's a low ranked private university. Private / for-profit universities have a low reputation in Canada in comparison to public universities. Pick a different school if you care about reputation or the quality of your education.

Many asked here. You can find it in vai search. Never heard of it until I read in this forum. I lived in Vancouver for over 30 years.

It was founded by the then President of University of Victoria in 2005. It was sold to private owners and was on a verge of bankruptcy before acquired by Eminata in 2008 which then Eminata sold to another Netherlands based company. Closed its Victoria Campus and kept one at Downtown in rented building. UCW has 90% of its students from India, and few from Iran. Its market segment is from Asian Pacific. I had to deal with them on refund from one of the person I knew who applied and had study permit refused, Canada West refused to refund based on the reasons on his rejection letter. there are specific reasons they don't do refund. Typically, MBA class has over 90% from one part of the World, I don't see its diverse, and learning conducive.... Majority of BC residents, even lower mainland don't recognized it, leave aside employers. On average, one course costs average $2500 and you need 15 units to graduate. do your math, and is it worth it? plus cost of living in Vancouver.

Well said. It's a graduate-level diploma mill for people who are too lazy or cannot do well in the GMAT/GRE for business school

Would add that the majority of graduates depend on their previous education and work experience to get hired in Canada and not their MBA.

That's true but most students with good past experience end up going to top business schools which leads to better recruiting prospects.
