Returning to USA from Canada

Hello this question is specific to those living in America. I am an international student here in the US and I have got a canadian visitor visa. I am planning to visit canada for a couple fo weeks. But the thing is my visa has expired but my student status is still ACTIVE so will I still be able to return to the US with an expired visa? They say if the visit is less than 30 days, I can re-enter. But still wanna make sure as I feel it is some what risky. If anyone had similar situation, let me know! Thanks

No,student status allows you to stay. Visa allows you entry. Same as Canada

When do you plan to visit Canada because if you don’t have immediate family, you will be denied entry. You need to quarantine for 14 days too. Also you would not be able to return to the US with an expired visa.
