Hello,

I'm currently abroad in my home currently. I want to return back to canada before December to apply for the work permit since I'm graduating in December. The original plan was to return in November. But due to the numbers increasing and fear of another complete lock down, I'm thinking of making my flight earlier.

The options are to change it to somewhere around 20 October or possibly in the next few days. Obviously, I'd like to extend my stay in my country the longest, but I fear the lock down.

The issue is there are so many conflicting news coming up which is worrying me. On one hand, numbers are increasing, on the other hand, I saw an article claiming that the minister of education is working with DLIs to have student return in the next few months.

What are your thoughts. I know there's no right or wrong answer, because nobody really knows. Unless there's a new piece of information that I haven't heard of.

Do you have an apartment in Canada and are your classes online?
Yes I'm currently renting a room and have my lease with me. I also have my bank account still open and my phone bill being paid. My classes are completely online though.

It is a gamble. Having the letter would have helped. It all depends on the CBSA officer. One might let you in another might not.
