How much time do you have to return when you leave Canada once you get your PR status?

What do you mean by "return"? I'll assume you mean you need to leave Canada after you land. If that's the case I suppose it depends on if you have Condition 51. If you do then you have to live with your spouse for 2 years from your landing date. If not, then you just have to meet the PR residency reqs (2 years out of the last 5 years).

Usually Immigration at the entry port ask you details if you are absence for more than six months. But people do stay for longer. Just make sure your basic residency days doesnt effect and if you are planning to apply for citizenship down the road then make sure you are residing in Canada for 4 years out of 6 years.

Hope it helps.....

Yes we need to leave right after we land, then come back. Where do you see if you have condition 51?

It should be on your COPR.

Well we have to leave to Canada for Nov, then come back to Canada for good in June of next year.

I dont think condition 51 will be an issue for you as you both are leaving. Just tell the immigration in June 2017 if they ask you for the absence and the future plan.

Yes I don't see anything on COPR beside condition. It's empty.

If you are with your spouse the time you are gone is irrelevant (except for citizenship) regardless if you have the condition or not.

Thats good. That means you are married for over 2 years when you applied and/or you have kids together. So nothing to worry. Just make sure you do keep ur PR status active and enjoy....
