Return ticket more than 6 months away from the entry

Hi everyone,
I purchased tickets for my mom with the return ticket being 6.5months away from the arrival. Does anyone know if this might be an issue when crossing the border? She only has a visitor visa and therefore can only stay in Canada for 6 months at a time (without applying for an extension). Does anyone have any experience or suggestions for this situation?

Return ticked should be six months maximum. Yes, it's possible this could cause concern on entry.
