My bf lives in Laos and we are waiting to hear from the Singapore office about the status of his PR application. If he gets a request for his passport is it sent to Singapore? If so, when he gets the visa and then immigration prepares to send it back to him how does it work? There is no Canadian embassy in Laos so would it get sent to the address given in the application? The closest Canadian embassy is in Bangkok, Thailand but without his passport he would obviously not be able to cross the border. There is an Australian embassy, a UK embassy, and an American embassy in Laos so would having the passport sent to one of these locations and he could pick it up in person, is that an available option? Thanks for the help.
