You can simply walk into a USPS post office and they will give you the right one with the right postage stamp value. I got it like that only.

I sent FedEx prepaid envelope....

Based on my experience, they will not send the passport in fedex even though you send them a prepaid envelope. They only send in USPS. Either you send them an express mail envelope or they ll send it in their regular first class mail. This was the instruction given in the PPR letter that I got.

@canadacanda

Did you applied from US ? then you will get it within week time even if they send your passport through regular USPS.

You can but I don't think you need to send them again other USPS cover. If you are in other country, it may take around 15-20 days but you will get it.

Just keep checking once your status is changed they will probably send your passport back.

Thanks

Hi Friends - Need your advice... Did any of you used USPS's Click-N-Ship option?

I used for the return envolope for passport request & sent it to CIC Buffalo. Want to know if this will be an issue?

Thanks

Iam using fedex now, USPS dont found some addresses when I sent documents and take 15days for priority 2 to 3 daysdelivery, I sent for PCC San francisco Indian Consulate and the USPS dont find address and they hold my envelope for searching address, when I call them they gave me reason Address not found and they start process to return me, I told them dont return me just send mentioned address, its consulate thats not a small place, then after they tooks 15days to deliver my docs, even they missplaced means "lost" my one international envelop , from that day I never trust USPS. I open an account in FEDEX and now I'm using Fedex, its good and faster one. I sent all docs to CHC by FEDEX now onwards.

Hi omm - I used fedex till PPR request. But with PPR request, CIC gave instructions for submission of Passports which can be found on the below link

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/buffalo/imm/submit_soumettre.aspx

and has the following content in it:

+++++++++++++++

Important information regarding the return of your passports:

Passports will be returned to you by US Postal Service regular mail unless you use one of the premium services described above. WE WILL NOT USE FedEx, UPS, PUROLATOR OR ANY OTHER COURIER COMPANY ENVELOPES - EVEN IF THEY ARE PREPAID BY CREDIT CARD OR ACCOUNT NUMBER.

Thats the reason I wrote this ..

Suppose your Visa office is in Singapore and you live in Thailand.
Can you give Canadian High Commission in Thailand to send your passport for stamping and return to you when they'd get it from Singapore?
