Hello Friends,

Am unmarried with no siblings and Its been 6 months i got my PR and now i want to invite my mother on TRV, she was Govt employee and is now retired , hence now earning pension and also possess handsome amount of liquidated bank balance, which states she is not financially dependent on me or any.

However, am afraid of one point that is has no property on her name and currently lives on rent, will this can be cause for refusal ?

As a part of ties to home country , will her pension and bank balance will suffice ?, Shall she consider buying property and then apply ?

Any help or suggestions will be appreciated please.

Regards
Sachin

Buying a property to get a TRV, that is pretty drastic! Yes people who rent can be approved. For TRV hers assets not yours is what is important sounds like that isn't a problem. You have to work on her ties to her home country. Is she married? Does she have to return home to receive her pension? Have family commitments? Does she have previous travel history to countries similar to Canada that require a visa? That would help.
