Hi everyone,

I think i read somewhere in this forum that it’s advisable to recreate ur EE profile at the start of the new year as it somehow helps in ur profile being selected for various PNP programs. Does this claim hold any substantial evidence? Should one do this or not?

IMO no. And you'd put yourself at great disadvantage when it comes to tie break rule.

I do not know from where you heard this but I am sorry to burst your bubble, you are only putting yourself at a disadvantage when you submit your profile late. Good luck.

I do not see how that could make any sense at all.
PNP nominations or Notifications of Interests (NOI) are based on eligibility criteria, regardless of when your EE profile was submitted.
If you heard that because people claim that's because of some quota or something, do know the fact that your profile was created in 2019 doesn't give you any advantage on those who created it in 2018. They'll simply look at those who are eligible.
