RESTORE PR STATUS

Hello,
I need an advise.... my husband has renounced his PR Status and applied for a visitor's visa which was granted to him recently. My question is, can I or he re-apply for a Permanant Resident status as he is planning to settle with us and leave his job in the Middle East. Please advise on how to do this?

He cannot apply to "restore" his PR status.

However you can apply to sponsor him for PR as your spouse. If you are a PR yourself, make sure you meet the PR residency requirement before you submit the application to sponsor him. Detailed instructions here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse.asp
