hello everyone my study permit was expired on 31st march 2017 and i applied for a new one after the expiration on 2 june 2017. The application processing time is around 114 day. This mean my 90 day grace period will be expired by the time i get my application processed. Can i stay in canada until i have not recieved the answer from my application. And what if my extension get rejected and then i will be out of the 90 day window. What are my options then can i reapply. It will be really helpfull if someone can answer my question as my status expires in 4 day and i am very depressed thank you

Yes - you can remain in Canada until a decision is made for the restoration. You obviously cannot study or work while waiting for restoration.

If the restoration/extension is rejected, you'll need to leave Canada.

thanks for your reply and time. If it is rejected will i have time to re-apply for something else to stay in canada and how long will i have to apply after it gets rejected. As i dont want to leave canada because me and my family future depend on it. Thanks

If restoration is refused - you'll need to leave Canada. There won't be anything you can apply for from within Canada. You'll have to leave and apply from outside of Canada.

Alright now this waiting period will be so deressing for me and i1 hope that i dont get rejected. Thanks
