Restoration status for study permit

Hi guys! Just register today for this problem, so hear me out. I studying in Quebec so I already have my CAQ, my study permit end at March 31st, so I send everything on March 10 by mail, then I realized that I haven't pay my fee, so I paid the fee like around March 15. However, by stupidity, I did not send the receive. Then at April 6 then send all of my docs, saying that i have missed to filled some parts, and because I havent pay the fee, so if I want to reapply it one more, I have to pay for the restoration fee. Now this morning i call for CIC, they said I might receive an answer around August. What can I do in this? Could I continue to go to school? Have anybody been like me?

1. Did CIC informed you about the reason of your rejection? If yes, share it exactly how they have stated it.
2. When is your study permit expiring? March 2013? or is it May 2012? This point is not clear in your post.
3. You should apply before the expiry date of your study permit, If your case is with CIC and your permit expires you don't have to worry until the decision arrives. If however, you didn't apply before the expiry of you permit then you have to leave Canada.

1. No they did not reject my application yet. The problem that I was on "Restoration Staus" it's because I haven't filled all the required area, and I did not include the prove that I paid for the fees, though I did paid them with my credit card.
2. My permit expired on March 31st 2012.
3. I did applied before my expiring date, due to the problem at 1. they send all my docs back, and it was April 6th. So I have to pay an extra $200 for "Restoration Status" just in case.
