If I immigrate to Canada through Inland Spousel Sponsorship what are the responsibilities of my sponsor & what the sponsor has to fill out or agree to besides the undertaking to cover my costs?

All it really means is if the PA were to go on welfare in the first 3 years from landing then the sponsor is liable to pay that money back to the government.

So it’s just a deterrent to make sure people coming here are able to be supported/support themselves.

It says someone who receives social assistance other than a disability can't sponsor a spouse. What other social assistance is there besides for a disability?

Is someone living in Subsidised housing allowed to sponsor a spouse for Spousel sponsorship?

Welfare.

So a Canadian not doing immigration who doesn't have a disability could receive welfare?

Of course. Most western nations provide some type of assistance to poor people or other at risk groups. It definitely goes beyond just disability.

Based on your posts you are divorced and your sponsorship was cancelled. You still have to prove that you can support your family so if you are receiving subsidized housing finances could be an issue.

To canuck78 I am being sponsored. My sponsor is the one who lives in a Subsidised apartment could that be an issue?

Are you. remarrying the mother of your child? A second sponsorship attempt will definitely raise red flags. Yes subsidized housing could be an issue. Not due to the subsidized housing per se but due to the inability to support your current family at market rent rate.

No a new person with no children. So she has to move out to show she can support me?
