Resident country visa of secondary applicant

Is there a need of providing copies of secondary applicant's visa status. I am a citizen of India and is currently residing in Australia since 1year. Now a days, Australian Visa is electronic and so is not stamped in the passport. Do I need to take a print out of the visa from my email inbox? My husband is the primary applicant and he is providing his visa documents of Australia.

Hi we did provide our visa copies ...understand its electronic visa nowadays but you can still go to your local immigration office and get your visa counterfoil placed on your passport...me & my wife did the same from Sydney office (near central station) if the officer questions why? then inform that Indian authorities request for labels and create a fuss sometimes...works
