RESIDENCY CALCULATION -IN CASE SENT TO OUT OF CANADA BY A CANADIAN EMPLOYER

Hi Leon,

I was sent abroad by my employer for official work. In between-my employer terminated my employment contract from that day of notice itself.

Since official work was to get wind up and for that my stay was extended till wind up period of 7 weeks without payment from employer.

MY Specific question: To get my these 7 weeks period included in my residency for PR Renewal purpose, what letter format/documents I need from my employer?

Employer ready to give those documents/letters.

Please help me for this document or format of documents to get it from my employer.

According to CIC, you can only count employment overseas towards your residency requirements if you are posted outside Canada full time, not for a business trip.
