I am confused regarding my NOC code. Logically it seems that I should fit under 4012 NOC. I hold a Masters degree worked as a full time paid research assistant at a university. I only had research duties and not teaching ones listed as follows:

I am confused regarding my NOC code. Logically it seems that I should fit under 4012 NOC. I hold a Masters degree worked as a full time paid research assistant at a university. I only had research duties and not teaching ones listed as follows:
- Undertake literature reviews/ systematic reviews
- Collect and analyze data
- Recruit subjects for interviews and perform data collection through telephonic or face to face interviews
- Maintain accurate records of interviews, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects by obtaining, handling and storing data in accordance with ethical guidelines
- Assist in project management
- Perform data entry, data cleaning, data modification and analysis of survey data
- Attend project meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Attend school meetings as necessary
- Provided assistance and support to researchers in the collation, analysis and reporting of study findings
- Summarize/synthesise findings of the study
- Prepare other articles, reports or presentations as necessary
- Prepare research manuscripts for publication in journals and provide assistance in the preparation of manuscripts

Main duties
- Grade examinations, term papers and laboratory reports.
- Compile research results and assist professors in the analysis of results and the preparation of journal articles or papers.
- Conduct literature reviews, surveys, laboratory experiments and other research for use in scholarly publications
- Conduct seminars, discussion groups and laboratory sessions to supplement lectures
- Assist in the preparation and administration of examinations
- Organize reference materials, visual aids and other materials as required by university professors or college teachers for lectures
- Post-secondary teaching and research assistants specialize in a subject matter based on their field of study.
