Research details in Work History section

Hi All,

Under Work History, there is a last section to enter the 'Research' details. Please enlighten on what options should be selected, since it appears quiet confusing.

The 'research' section is a kind of survey done by IRCC to know whether you have applied for jobs (since job bank registration is not mandatory now) or have done any research or proactive steps to gain license if your NOC is regulated.So its not mandatory to answer this section since it wont affect your application in any way,but its good to be a honest and answer them if you can.

Thanks for your reply. However, while submitting the express entry profile, there was a message that the registration was mandatory in the Job Bank for the profile to get active in the express entry pool. Since I am not sure about the regulation part regarding my job, I am in a dilemma on what should be entered.
