requirements for re-entering US after a short stay in Canada

We'll be driving to Canada by car in next few days on a valid CoPR and return to the US within 30 days, so as to use AVR.
We are required to do COVID test within 72 hours before entering Canada.
We intend to stay in Canada for 2-3 weeks.
Will we need to do a COVID test before re-entering the US?

For US there is no need of COVID test.

For entering canada you also need to be fully vaccinated.
