Hi All,

I am a bit confused about the requirement to qualify as Primary Production Manager,NOC 0811. Does one have to have work experience/education related to forestry and logging, mining and quarrying, oil and gas drilling only or having work experience in any production and servicing operations will suffice to qualify ?For example, I have a bachelors degree in Electrical engineering followed by an MBA. I currently work in a production company and my current designation is Primary Manufacturing manager as I am responsible for running the primary production department which processes the raw material which ,in turn, is used as an input for the Secondary manufacturing department. However, from the immigration website, its not clear whether I would qualify as a Primary Production Manager since my degree is not in forestry, earth science ,geology or mining engineering ( the main employment requirements shown in the website). However, in 'classified elsewhere' group -goods production is shown to be a similar occupation where a degree in engineering is shown as a relevant employment requirement. So , can I can apply under the category of Primary Production manager?
