Regarding Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) for those who are staying in India, can anyone please let me know if we need separate PCC from each state if we have stayed there for more than 6 months or the PCC from the current address will be sufficient. I have stayed in multiple states for more than 6 months during the course of my employment and not sure if I need to furnish PCC from each of those state, which would be really a hefty task. Any leads would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Ministry of external affairs deals with PCC all over India. Do get your PCC done from there.

It is online appointment, in passport seva site.
Just Google it.

AFAIK you only need one PCC from the Passport Seva Kendra.
You can book your appointment online. They usually hand it over on the same day if the address in your passport is your current address.
I got mine done in 2 hours.

Thanks for the responses guys. In my case, I am a Nepalese passport holder who have been residing in India for the last 10 years, and it seems PSK will only serve to Indian passport holders. So, any idea where should I approach, local police station or regional FRRO office?

This has been resolved, let me know if someone faces the similar issues.
