Good morning,

Just wanted to confirm, to apply under FSTC with a spouse and 2 kids, what are all the necessary documents that will be required?

I know the following are required:
Medical Exam, Passports, Marriage Certificate, Employment Records, Letter of Employment, Offer of Employment, Photos, Banking Profile.

Am I missing something? Does Birth Certificates for both kids (Translated and notarized) required?

Also, what are the requirements for Letter of Employment? Ho does it differ from Offer of Employment?

Thanks!!

Check this link to know more about FST requirements http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/trades/apply-who.asp

Check this link for the list of documents that you need to prepare as part of your application http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

Yes, if any of your documents is in a language other than English or French, the requirement states 'If a supporting document is in a language other than English or French, the applicant must provide IRCC with a copy of the original document as well as a version translated by a certified translator.'

Offer Letter is a letter issued by an employer to a prospective employee. This letter basically states the position, duties and responsibilities, the pay along with terms and conditions. An offer letter becomes a valid document only once it is accepted by the prospective employee. At this stage, there is no employer-employee relationship established. Once the offer is accepted, you will be issued an appointment letter/employment contract which officially binds you in an employer-employee relationship. This is issued and executed on your date of joining.

Employment Letter/Reference Letter/Experience Letter referred to by different names based on what is covered in the letter, is a letter which is issued after the establishment of an employer-employee relationship. This is issued either on request or when you resign from your role at the organisation. For the format of Reference Letter, you can check this link http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/nail-the-challenge-of-getting-reference-letter-from-current-employer-t397796.0.html
