What docuemnts will be required for a Type C dependant under parents sponsorship category? The dependant is 22+ years old and have always been financially dependant on parents for physical/mental condition. He has also been studying (currently in masters program) with no year gap. He has a congenital rare disease since birth which makes him dependant physically on his parents for his day to day living activities. However, he does not require any additional medications or special health care that would cost any money whatsoever. Truly appreacite your help. Thanks.

You need to provide evidence of his medical condition and prove he is unable to take care of himself. You'll want to include letters from doctors and specialists that provide information about his situation and explain why he is unable to live independently. You'll also want to provide any other medical evidence you have such as hospitalization records, medical exams, etc.

Thank you so much Scylla. Very detailed and clear advice. Appreciate it.
To further clarify this - what's your thought on the following?

1.provide a general physician's note indicating his brief medical condition, why is unable to live independently., brief details of physical challenges
2. Provide another note by a specialist doctor (a neurologist in this case) indicating a little more specifics about the congenital disease.

Would these 2 suffice you think ?

Also all his medical tests are very old ( at least 5-6 years). We have a MRI done in 2011, the result of which confirms the congenital disease.. since this is congenital, there was no further test required, because there is no treatment to this ...

Also, anything you suggest we should provide to prove that he has been financially dependant on his parents all along?

Thank you so much again. Stay blessed.

I would also include a letter from your parents explaining what they do for your brother to support him and further demonstrate why he cannot be physically independent (e.g. presumably they help him to shower / dress, perhaps lift him into bed, etc.). They may also want to explain what they do for him to allow him to attend school (i.e. if he attends classes, does one of your parents go with him?).
