I came to Canada as a refugee claimant and I received my protected person confirmation Dec of last year.However my question is when I came in 2007 I left my original passport and other documents with Immigration at the point of entry to Canada.I want to find out how long I still have to wait to get the documents back or if I can even request them myself.I have just applied for permanent residency and I am not sure if that has any bearing or not or if i have to wait till the PR application process goes thru?
Any information will be appreciated...thanks
