dear expart,,,my brother got request from CIC some documents , once of them is imm5669. but cic mention below line for imm5669:
 IMM 5669 Schedule A Background / Declaration form, completed with up-to-date
information by you, your spouse/common-law partner, and each of your dependent
children who is 18 years of age or older. Fill the form on the CIC Web site then print it:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5669E.pdf
You must provide complete details of your personal history and addresses since the age
of 18.
Do not leave any gaps. Failure to account for all time periods will delay the
processing of your application.

On imm5669 its mentioned that since age of 18 or last 10 years whichever is most recent. now how to fill this form. pls advise

If you are below 28 yrs then just fill in the form with whatever u did since age of 18 let it be study or work or being umployed or on vacation or simply at home. And if you are over 28 years just go back with all details of last 10 years.
Do not leave gap of even 1 month
Cheers

Dear Branded_man,

I have also received the similar request to submit updated background declaration from Hong Kong Visa Office. Today I have sent my application to HK VO with all documents requested. Unfortunately I did not notice that they asked to submit information from the age of 18. I provided them last 16 years information. I am over 28 years old. Do you think I need to re-submit the IMM5669 again? Please provide your expert opinion. I am worried whether this mistake would delay my applicatin process.

Thanks and regards.

It's best to provide exactly what they need, and nothing more. But if you over-supply your information more than what they need, I don't think there's a problem. Perhaps a small delay because they need to figure out what they want to see, but rejecting you on the ground of giving more than they need is ludicrous
